As an active participant in a network of businesses, unions, educational institutions and public agencies, we help improve employment opportunities for workers, including your employed and unemployed members.
We offer the same employment programs, such as our Dislocated Worker Program for union as well as non union workers. Unions seek our pre-layoff workshops when there's a major layoff or plant closing. We support training and skills development programs to help unions and businesses increase the skills of their members and employees.
As a labor representative, you can help us serve the needs of Chicago-area workers by referring laid-off workers to our Dislocated Worker Program; connecting your signatory employers with our business services team and engaging in the workforce investment system.
